Holter Monitor

With this monitor you will have 7 electrodes connected to your skin and the monitor records your heart's rhythm for 24 to 48 hours, depending what the physician has ordered. The data collected is similar to an EKG


Event Recorder 

With this monitor you will have 2 electrodes connected to your skin and your wear this recorder for up to 21 days. This device is analyzing the heart's rhythm and will record an event when you activate the recorder or when the recorder sees a rhythm that is has been programmed to collect. After the recorder has 4 events recorded you will need to call the office and have the events downloaded over the telephone. Once the events have been downloaded the recorder is reset and you will then continue wearing the monitor or return it to the office if instructed.
